General instructions:


VS1-40.5/ type indoor high voltage vacuum circuit breaker is used in switchgear KYN61-40.5. It is mainly suitable for rated voltage 40.5kV, three-phase AC 50Hz power system, and can be used for the protection and control of industrial and mining enterprises, power plants, and substations, especially for various places with frequent operations. It is a new type of power supply and distribution equipment.


This product meets the standard requirements of GB11022 "General Technical Requirements for High Voltage Switchgear and Control Equipment Standards", GB1984 "AC High Voltage Circuit Breaker" and IEC56 "High Voltage AC Circuit Breaker"


Application environment conditions:


1. Ambient temperature: -15°C to +40°C, the 24-hour average temperature does not exceed 35°C

2. Altitude: ≤1000m;

3. Relative humidity: the average humidity of the day should not be greater than 95%; the average monthly humidity should not be greater than 90%;

4. Saturated vapor pressure: the daily average pressure should not be greater than 2.2kPa, and the monthly average humidity should not be greater than 1.8kPa;

5. Environmental conditions: It should be installed in a place free from dust, smog, chemical erosion, combustible gas, and salt spray pollution.


Structural features:


The vacuum circuit breaker adopts an integrated design, which is different from open vacuum circuit breakers and insulated vacuum circuit breakers.

1. The vacuum interrupter and the conductive circuit fittings with rings are sealed into poles with resin through a special process.

2. The modular circuit is then assembled in a modular circuit breaker.

3. The vacuum circuit breaker has excellent electrical and mechanical properties, reaching the advanced level of modern vacuum circuit breakers.


Technical Features:


The design of this VS1-40.5/T considers the requirements of the Chinese market and special regions, and utilizes the advantages of APG's solid insulation and advanced technology to make the vacuum interrupter and conductive circuit into a solid-sealed pole.

This not only simplifies the pole assembly process, prevents VS1 quantitative operation due to loosening of the conductive connection bolts of the vacuum interrupter circuit, but also improves reliability, avoiding external mechanical forces and environmental conditions (such as dust, humidity, nasty, high sea level, animals), and to avoid the potential risk of the vacuum interrupter’s opening level being reduced under the surface elastomer of the vacuum interrupter due to insulation when the vacuum interrupter is operating in a harsh environment. Therefore, the poles are completely maintenance-free for the lifetime of the circuit breaker. The circuit breaker uses solid insulation instead of SF6 to meet the needs of external insulation. It is more environmentally friendly and represents the advanced level of vacuum circuit breakers in the modern world.
